Have you ever wanted to pick a tune or sing a song on stage with a top-notch band? This will be your chance!

We will have a book of songs to choose from of Bluegrass’ Greatest Hits. If you want to do something you don’t see on the list, that’s ok, just give us a little heads up about chords and keys!

Just 2 rules:

1. It should be a traditional bluegrass standard (or close enough). Please choose a song that you know, if the band also knows it, so much the better!
2. No original songs (sign up for the Songwriter Showcase for that!)

Sign up for Karaoke slots will be done on-site only. There will be sign-up sheets in the Celtic Junction Lobby on Friday evening and Saturday morning. You can sign up for remaining slots in the Concert Hall during the event on Saturday.

The Lake Monsters are friends from many bluegrass and acoustic music bands from the Upper Midwest that got together for a monthly gig at Lake Monster Brewery in the summer of 2023. At the end of the summer we were having so much fun we decided to keep it going. The idea is simple, straight ahead classic bluegrass. Songs we all know and play when we’re just jamming and doing it for the fun of it.
