Acoustic MN is a new production company started by Ross Willits in the summer of 2026. Our first venture is to produce a vibrant acoustic music festival in St. Paul replacing the canceled MBOTMA Fall Jam.

The name of the event grew out of conversations between Ross and Tom Peschges, who had led the planning committee for Fall Jam with MBOTMA. Tom suggested “The Festival Formerly Known as Fall Jam,” and Ross responded jokingly, “Autumn Preserves.” Like any good jelly, that name stuck!

This project is entirely self-funded (for now). We hope that this is not a one-off, and we’ll continue to bring the acoustic music community together for many more events in the future.
